After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. Cancer Research UK or CRUK is one of the biggest cancer research and awareness charities in the United Kingdom and Isle of Man and the largest independent research charity in the world. The charity's aim is to reduce the number of deaths by cancer. It conducts research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. This charity is very close to my heart and so is the cause because a few years ago someone very close to me was diagnosed with Stage-1 Cancer. We were fortunate enough to have diagnosed it at the right time and everything turned out well. However, not everyone is! That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life.
