My Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. We've all been touched by friends or family who are fighting or who have unfortunately succumbed to cancer. So, at 9.30pm on the 21th September, I’m taking on Shine, the 10K night walk through central London. Every year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s work. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
