I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Tim

09 Jul 1966 - 09 Feb 2011

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.

I am running in memory of my best friend Tim ... We met Jan 1986, when I moved to Stourport on Severn. Tim lived across the road from me and we were both in the same class at school. We became and remained the closest of friends.
I was so fortunate to have met him, the funniest guy I ever knew. We had so many experiences good and not so good but went through everything knowing the other was there for them at a moments notice.
We grew up together, bunked off school together, learned to drink together, holiday'd together, raised families together. Throughout the years we were also in a band together, wrote many songs about our lives, hopes and dreams. I count myself so lucky that I do have all these wonderful memories, but nothing can prepare you for the hole that appears in your life after a loved one is taken.....

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
