Adele's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. Cancer has been a dreaded word in my family for as long as I can remember. Too many of my loved ones both family and friends have fought against this awful disease, some who I'm pleased to say have won their battle, some continue to fight their battle and sadly some have lost their battle against the dreaded 'C" word. One person in particular who battled cancer for sometime but unfortunately lost her battle was my precious and beloved mam. My mam passed away at the very young age of just 44 years! I was a young 21 year old then and I remember the day like it was yesterday. The undescribable pain has never really left me, I believe you never really get over the loss of a loved one, you just learn to live without that person. My mam is still the first person I think of when I wake up and the last person I think of at night. Life has to go on, I know that and for every breath I take, I also take one for my mam, as she was such a brave, selfless, and courageous woman who lived her life to the full and put up the best fight she could to beat this awful disease. If I can raise just a small amount of money to help Cancer Research UK continue with the amazing work that they do and help just one family to not have to feel the pain I feel everyday I feel I would have given back a little to the people who helped my family when it was very much needed.
