My Story
2018 sadly took my daddy and Alessandras Grandad but Cancer Research uk with their valiant work meant we kept him for longer, received amazing new treatments and we want that to continue for every family to add days, Memories, moments and knowledge to everyone’s lives. We can’t bring my daddy back but we sure as hell can help someone somewhere if even only for a moment.... trust me that moment is precious and I am eternally grateful for all the extra moments I got. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives, we chose the Ilkley one as it will be held in Fathers Day which seemed fitting. We will of course run in style covered in glitter and are determined to run rather than walk and would love your support, by donation, coming along for a run, support on the day or just keeping us in mind on Father’s Day when we run. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
