We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Although each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years, we can’t stop there. I would love if you were able to spare some change so that we can help save millions of lives, and to make my pain worthwhile (this is also a huge personal challenge because I've never walked so far in one go before- but no pain, no gain!) Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
