Team Adcock

Welcome to the Team Adcock fundraising page! Inspired by the Chariots of Fire run last September, Jo and Hannah have signed up for the 2018 Race for Life. They will be taking part in separate events, but together they have the same goal, to raise money for Cancer Research UK and to beat cancer sooner. This year, Jo is running in Peterborough’s 5k on the 24th June, whilst Hannah will be doing the 10k in Cambridge on the 8th July. An engineer from the Bromsgrove branch, Sean Manison, is also raising money for Cancer Research with a slightly different approach to fundraising. Sean will be taking part in Ultra Darts in Birmingham on the 23rd June 2018. Ultra Darts gives participants the opportunity to learn how to play darts over 8 weeks with a competition at the end. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. However, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single penny donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK to improve technology and find different ways that will prevent, diagnose and treat cancer further.
