My Story
Hi all, as the ride london 100 was cancelled due to covid, I'm now planning to complete a slightly more ambitious route with a couple of friends. We are raising money for cancer research in loving memory of Elizabeth Ann Creese, uncle bill, auntie cath & so many others taken by cancer. We lost Liz recently after a very short illness. She was an amazing mother to my wife, incredible Nana to my daughters, wonderful mother-in-law to me and so many other things to so many other people. Such a caring, kind and considerate lady who could always be relied on to help anyone whenever she could. She was such a huge part of our lives that I can't even begin to express how devastated we are & how much we miss her. With over 200 different types of cancer & statistics showing 1 in 2 people will suffer from it in their lifetime, it is something that affects us all, either directly or indirectly. If you can afford a donation to help me exceed my target we will be very grateful. It will go towards helping support research into the causes, prevention & treatment of a disease that often takes people far too soon and in Liz's case far too suddenly.
