My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking on the challenge of Cancer Research UK's Tough 10 to raise money and save lives. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, i run this race in memory of my Grandmother Mary who i never had the pleasure of meeting, for my Aunties Gillian and Julia who thanks to their determination and help from modern medicine won the fight. I know we all have our stories and people we know and so i run for them all and the hope that one day we can say we all beat cancer!!! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now and i promise to put myself through as much pain as i can both in training and in the race so you may get added pleasure from your donation!!! Just as an addition in training i am working towards 5k on incline in under 20 minutes - My current best is 21:40 trust me this is hard for a non runner. If i reach my target of £500 i will post beating my personal best if i get £1000 i will train until i beat 20 minutes and post!!!!
