Thanks for taking the time to visit my page! Cancer is happening right now, and I'm sure we all know somebody close to us who has been affected. Age is the biggest risk factor for most cancers, and the increase in lifetime risk is primarily because more people are surviving into old age, when cancer is more common. In fact, new data from Cancer Research UK has forecasted that 1 in 2 of us will develop a form of the disease in our lives. Your donations are helping us accelerate progress towards our ambition to see 3 in 4 cancer patients surviving by 2034. Donations will go towards research into the fundamental biology of cancer, as well as more than 200 specific types of cancer: from the most common – such as breast, bowel, lung and prostate – to rare types of tumour and children’s cancers.
