Let's tackle cancer together.
Some of you may remember I was fundraising for Cancer Research a while back. A year and a half on, and a lot less fit, I'll finally be attempting the Great North Run. I'm spicing up the fundraising and running a sweepstake: for every £5 donated, you can make a finishing time prediction. The closest prediction will win a prize! (I'm battling shin splints as well as being v unfit post-Euros atm, so get in there quick with the DNF prediction...). Strava profile if you want to delve into my woeful current running distances/pace: https://www.strava.com/athletes/10115696 Sweepstake: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/122kU_BMbdh7Ntj31xZw8wh7Q_lud5B5Sqnk4Nt1i0Fo/edit?usp=sharing Cheers x P.S. if you donated before, drop me a message with your predictions! Why Cancer Research UK? Cancer is happening right now, which is why we need to raise money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose. 2.5 million people were living with cancer in the UK in 2015. This figure is projected to rise to 4 million by 2030. It is crucial that we continue to further our knowledge of cancer, with the ultimate aims of prevention, effective treatment and a reduction in the number of new cases. Cancer Research UK are at the forefront of this fight; funding the science that can tackle this awful disease. Donate to this page today, no matter how 'small' (there is no such thing), and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Your donation and generosity can make a real difference.
