My Story
Adam Recruitment are prolific fundraisers. We love a good challenge. From baking cakes to bike races we’ve done it all but this time we’ve signed up for something … well, stupid. Only 4 of the team are brave enough to take on the challenge of Man Vs Mountain – a 22 mile race up Snowdon before descending the 5055 ft to the finish line, via some pretty rough obstacles. What mad men would put themselves through this we hear you scream? Us, obviously. We know it sounds crazy but we’ve got form; Peter completed the exact same challenge in 2016, Sam completed the 2016 iron Man but Leon and Nathan? Well, they’re here for the competition. Leon was recently appointed an ambassador for Manchester Beats Cancer so the charity we’d be running for was never in question! It’s the young boys (Sam & Nathan) taking on the old geezers (Leon& Peter) in a head to head race. As well as raising money for a very deserving charity, the winners receive a boozy lunch courtesy of the losers. Not to mention bragging rights as the office marathon winners! We’ll be updating regularly on the Adam blog and social media, talking about our preparation and training – both physical and mental – as we approach this mammoth task.
