Acorn Finance - Running for cancer!
My Story
With a mix of experience at running, the Finance Team at Acorn Stairlifts are coming together to raise money for cancer. We've all be affected by cancer in our lives in many ways through family and friends and we're pushing ourselves to show our support for this great cause. Some of us have only recently completed a Couch to 5K or are even still on our way through it and this is a great target to achieve in it's own right. It's an even better reward to be able to raise money too while doing it. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
