Hi guys, The journey that I’m about to take is for the experience that my aunt went through when she was diagnosed with cancer. As you can imagine for those of you that have experienced hardship with a loved one in the same situation can understand the pain and stress it puts you through. Considering all the aspects she went through such as surgery and chemotherapy she battled through it and came out cancer free. I believe this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and love from family and friends. In hindsight I now believe that we can all beat cancer once and for all and it’s our right to do so hence why I’m taking this journey. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
