In memory of
Joan and Roy Baker
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. My story: A few of my family members have died from cancer, but recently my nan and it really hit me hard. It started with my nan being diagnosed with bowel cancer. She was in her 80s and really found it hard at the beginning. Her anxiety then kicked in, which made it hard for her to do everyday things. We had a year and a half of good memories and then she passed pretty quickly. My grandpa died of cancer and my other nan is a brave survivor. I have ran for them for the last 5 years and i am only 12. There is a lot of training involved and its tougher than it looks. I have done many things to raise awareness and money. for example: cake bakes, book sales etc. I managed to be awarded with the charity trophy at school for this. I am grateful that you have read this and please donate any amount, it all goes to the research of cancer and it makes a difference.
