My Grandpa and everybody else who has died because of it
My Story
My grandpa was one of the many people to have their lives taken by cancer. I was only 1 years old but recently I have been thinking... Almost everyone has connections to someone who died from cancer or who has suffered/is suffering from cancer. Each year 12.7 million people discover they have cancer and 7.6 million people die from the disease. All of this was happening, thousands of families struggling and I was doing nothing for it, nothing to help them. So I'm changing that, I'm going to help. Cancer research can do so much to help them discover new ways to cure and also to diagnose cancer quicker. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
