My Story
Cancer is affecting thousands of families in the world every day. Every day someone finds out a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, but through fundraising and research we can help support these families. I am a strong believer that a cure will be developed but it will just take time, effort and countless research. If everyone plays a part we can work together and fight cancer. I am taking part in Race for Life in memory of my Granda Doca, a truly inspirational father and grandfather who was loved by many. Every pound donated will go towards Cancer Research UK’s work, please sponsor as it will be greatly appreciated and is going towards a very important cause.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
