Abigail's Race for Life

I couldn’t have picked a better charity to raise money for. As some of you may already know we sadly lost my mam 13 years ago after battling cancer for a year which as you can imagine was absolutely heartbreaking for my family and I. My mam was the sweetest, selfless and most supportive person I could have ever have been blessed with in my life. Thinking back to the age of 12 I regretfully didn’t realise how lucky I was. 13 years later and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t wonder if she is proud of how far I’ve come in my life without having her by my side to guide me through life’s daily struggles. Being a part of this Race for Life with two of my best friends - who I couldn’t have got to this stage without is going to help me feel proud of myself, along with feeling proud of who I’ve become as a person and hopefully making my wonderful Mam proud of me.
