My Story
My Mum was diagnosed with Endometrial (Womb) Cancer in October 2019. Since then, it’s been a rollercoaster ride of emotions but now that the facts have settled, I wanted to do something for her and essentially, the people that will be supporting her and giving her advice and help. So! I’ve teamed up with my good friend, Rachel, to do the 5k in May 2020. Rachel’s dad was also diagnosed with Cancer in 2018 so this race means a lot to us. We’re not the fittest of people but hopefully upon completing this, it’ll encourage us to do a 10k next year!
