Birmingham Pretty Muddy 5k 2018

In 1990 my mum was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney. She had her kidney removed weighing in at over 10lb! That was heavier than all four kids that she had had. She also had half her lung removed as the cancer had spread. In 2013, many appointments later my Mum was given the all clear, i know she was one of the lucky ones. I was still very young when this all happened and never really knew the impact that it had on my family until i was older. They rallied round to make sure that me and my younger brother to keep life going as normal as possible. This is one of the reasons that i ask you to donate to this cause, along with seeing me get absolutely covered in mud! So that they can keep researching and helping more people.
