**Update on Mums journey** We couldn’t be prouder of how our Mum has handled everything put in front of her during this worrying time. However the lumpectomy went accordingly and she starts her radiotherapy very soon. She will be ongoing treatment which hopefully should be completed soon. Thank you everyone for your donation and continued support 💕 Lots of love Abbie, Ciara, Kaye & Andy xx ——————————————————- This March myself, my sister Ciara and my dad Andy are all walking 10,000 steps everyday throughout the month to help raise money and awareness for cancer research uk. For those who don’t know our lovely mum was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer this February following a routine mammogram check up which was the worst news any family would want to hear. She is to undergo a lumpectomy and radiotherapy alongside daily medication as we start this process to fight mums battle with cancer. Her strength and motivation inspires us everyday and we wanted to take on this challenge to help and give something back to those who need it the most! Whilst being in a global pandemic and facing many restrictions like not being able to hold our mums hand at a time where she needs us the most has truly been devastating. We just want to show her that we are always with her every step of the way. We know times are difficult right now but anything, no matter how big or small, will be a huge help to our mums recovery, and many others having to face this battle with cancer.
