Abbie's Race for Life
Glasgow 5k 2019

In memory of
My Nana
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Last year I witnessed what Cancer can do to a loved one and the impact that it has on every person around them. We already have such a great support system for those experiencing cancer or those affected by it through our loved ones. By donating to Cancer Research UK and sponsoring me I hope I can raise money to contribute to the research and resources already available when fighting cancer. Whether the difference be big or small, I hope it helps towards those who are affected by Cancer. On May 19th of this year I will be running a 5k for Cancer Research UK. This will be a challenge for me as not only am I very unfit, the event will require me to be sober on a Sunday morning rather than wearing a helmet and falling asleep in the cinema but it’s all for a great cause! I will be running in memory of my Nana who would be more than happy to hear I’ll be doing something other than drinking! She probably wouldn’t even believe it ... Whatever donations you can contribute would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Abbie x
