My Story

My mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer back in June – her only symptom being headaches. Our lives have turned upside down overnight. As you can all imagine, it is hard to find a positive in such a horrible situation like this, especially for her. The real sad thing is that our situation isn't uncommon - millions of families like ours go through this where we went from being a normal family with plans for the future, now having to realise that there is going to be a future without my mum. I’d really appreciate if you thought about donating to Cancer Research UK – the research they do really does save lives and makes us one day closer to finding a cure and stopping the misery that cancer causes. Together, we can raise awareness of this horrible disease and find a cure.
