I'm cycling 600 miles this September for Cancer Research UK
In memory of
The lost ones
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle page. This September, before the end of the month, I will attempt to complete 600 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. My auntie at the age of 4 was diagnosed with Leukemia. She underwent many treatments such as chemotherapy and even had a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, these attempts were unsuccessful and led the disease to develop to stage 4. She suffered for 9 years before she passed away in a hospital bed in Germany. My father on the other hand, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2006, and successfully beat it. Although my contribution may be little in retrospect, my reasoning for this fundraiser is to objectively bring more awareness to this unfortunate disease. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research as it is important for the understating of how this disease works, and accordingly beat it. I will be cycling with a group of friends, and will be aiming for 1000 miles between us. I will be updating our progress on this page and my Instagram, you are more than welcome to join us! Your contribution is greatly appreciated, but more importantly your attention! #morelife
