My Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. This January we will be taking part in Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. We are often being referred to as "Ab Fab" (we have no idea why???!!!) so you can understand this will be a big challenge for us as we will be ditching the drink for one month to hopefully raise as much money as we can for this Charity to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. It's sad to say that we all know someone that has been affected by cancer and sadly we have lost family and friends to this terrible disease and also know people who are currently fighting the battle, so this is a charity that is close to our hearts. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
