My Story
Cancer has affected my family in the most heartbreaking way. Those who know me will know that I lost love ones to cancer in such a short space of time. It all happened so quickly, and it was something I just couldn’t get my head around. Seeing first-hand how this cruel disease can take the people we love is something I’ll never forget. This marathon is for all my loved ones, I’ll be running every mile in their honour and in memory of the incredible people they were. This run means more to me than I could ever put into words. I’m so proud to have the opportunity to do this in their memory, while raising money to help fund life-saving research and support those affected by cancer. If sharing our story, running these miles, or raising even a small amount can help bring us one step closer to a world where fewer families have to experience this heartbreak, then every step will be worth it. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Together, we will beat cancer. 💙
