My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. In 2015 Cancer Research said that 1 in 2 people will get some form of cancer in their lifetime but today 1 in every 2 diagnosed will survive. This means that statistically either your mum or dad, brother or sister, your best friend or you will be diagnosed with cancer. At 23 I'm running for my sister, my dad, my aunt, and two grandparents, its time to do something so I'm running the Derby Pretty Muddy on the 30th June 2018 to help beat cancer! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
