My Story
Longest Day Up is a motorbike challenge to travel from Land’s End to John O'Groats on the longest day of the year between sunrise and sunset. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600. The bike I am using for the challenge belonged to my late brother Paul, he stripped the bike to carryout some repairs, unfortunately he died from MND before he had chance to rebuild it. Kindly donated by his wife Diane. The first challenge was build it back into a roadworthy bike. Having followed this event for approximately 5 years and vowing that one day I would take part. Recently retired I decided if not now, when. I lost a good friend and colleague Colin Drummond to cancer 3 years ago. An all round good guy, life long biker and cracking mate. I think we all know a friend, family member or colleague that has recovered or unfortunately succumbed to cancer. I just want to make a contribution however big or small to the fight against this disease. If you can spare some money and make a donation that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy
