This decision is deeply personal to us, as many of our team members have been personally affected by cancer through the experiences of their loved ones. Their work spans every aspect of cancer, driven by over 4,000 scientists, doctors, and nurses. Thanks to their pioneering research into prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, millions of lives have been saved. At the core of Cancer Research UK’s mission is a commitment to discovery and excellence. By understanding how cancer develops and progresses, they aim to unlock innovative ways to prevent, detect, and treat this disease. Their strategy concentrates on four key objectives: discover, detect, prevent, and treat. These goals are designed to drive advancements in cancer biology, leading to new prevention methods, diagnostic tools, and treatments. Over the next five years, Cancer Research UK will invest £1.5 billion into transformative research and the brilliant minds behind it. They are also committed to reducing disparities in cancer outcomes, ensuring everyone benefits from these advancements. To support this vital cause, A&G Travel Group will host a series of fundraising events and activities throughout 2025 and 2026. Every penny raised will go directly to Cancer Research UK.
