I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

In memory of

Deirdre Birch

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

What is an “80-Hymnathon”?

Last year my beloved wife, Deirdre, died of cancer after a short illness.

I have been an organist for sixty-five years and on Sunday, 19th September, I will be playing 80 hymns to raise money for cancer research and also to celebrate my 80th birthday which was in January this year.
Venue: Ringwood Parish Church
Time: 2:00 p.m. to about 6:00 p.m.
After a short break, at 4:00 p.m., a small group of singers will sing some arrangements of the hymns, accompanied by the organ.

Should you wish to be present to give support and listen at any time during the afternoon, tea, coffee and cake will be on sale.

According to statistics, 1 in 2 people will develop some sort of cancer in the UK, so please support me in making a donation to help bring an end to this invasive disease.
