10 DAYS OF FUN, FABULOUS, FLIPPING FANTASTIC 5Ks FUNDRAISER!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising for Cancer Research UK. Due to the corona-virus pandemic this year, vital cancer trials have been delayed so there’s no time to lose! Throughout the duration of lock-down, I have taken part in the couch-to-5K. Before I started this challenge, I couldn't think of anything worse then going out running. Now, I can't wait for my next opportunity to go for a run. I wanted to show my new found passion, whilst raising money for people who truly need it. Whilst fund raising, I'm going to ATTEMPT to run 5K for 10 days straight! This seems a bit daunting now, but I'm excited to get started. My runs will be between; Wednesday 16th September - Saturday 26th September. The final day of running, 25th of Sept, is my entry for the race for life 2020. I am starting this challenge on my Grandma's 87th birthday. My grandmother unfortunately has cancer and is unwell, however, she had her first cancer diagnosis in 1952 (68 years ago) and due to groundbreaking surgery at the time has enjoyed an extra 68 years of loving life! My Grandad has recently just hit the milestone of being cancer free for a year now too Therefore, I am very passionate about this cause.
