My Story

We both have felt that, due to the current COVID-19 crisis, the general morale of our area/nation has been low. We thought the best way to bring positivity back was to do a charity challenge that will push us to really dig deep for an amazing cause. It's also a fantastic way to celebrate Vertas' 5th birthday while raising much needed funds to a vital charity which has been hit heavily by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be leaving for Scotland on 31st August and heading to Loch Levan, buying essential food supplies on the way up. The following morning at 5am, we will set off to Ben Nevis with plans to start the mountain at 6am. We plan to be finished Ben Nevis by 11am. We will then drive to Scafell Pike (256 miles 5.5 hours), aiming to arrive at 5pm. We would then hike Scafell Pike which should take around 3.5 hours to finish around 9pm. We will then drive to Snowdon which is 219 miles (4.5 hours) and hopefully arrive around 1am. We would then complete Snowdon within the 5 hours remaining.
