My Story

Cancer has affected my family in more ways than I ever wish it had. Over the years, I have seen multiple family members face the fear, uncertainty and challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. It is something that has touched so many people I love, and I know we are far from the only family to experience this. That is why this marathon means so much to me. I’m not just running for myself, I’m running for my family, for the people we have lost, for those who have fought and overcome cancer, and for those who are still fighting today. Every mile will be for them, and for every person and family whose lives have been changed by cancer. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to run the London Marathon and use something I love to raise money for such an important cause. The training and 26.2 miles will undoubtedly be challenging, but knowing who I am running for will give every step a purpose. If you can donate or share my fundraising page, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help support vital cancer research and bring us closer to a future where fewer families have to experience the impact of this disease. Love Nicole x
