In the 1970’s 1 in 4 people survived cancer, now it’s more than 2 in 4, with continued investment in research this could be 3 in 4 patients by 2034. Together We Will Beat Cancer

In memory of

Philip and Pam

Having both been widowed at the age of 52, due to our spouses dying from cancer, we recognise the importance of CRUK’s work and want to save other families from having to go through this devastating experience.
We are cycling from the northernmost Cancer Research UK centre in England (Newcastle) to the southernmost centre (Southampton) to fundraise and increase awareness of the geographical coverage of CRUK as well as the fact that CRUK research into all different types of cancer (more than 200).
