My Story
Christine Bailey passed away (aged 69) on Tuesday 1st August, after suffering for over 7 years with terminal, mulitple-Myeloma cancer. One of her wishes was that money was raised for Cancer Research in order to tackle diagnosis and help save lives. So, on October 15th 2017 Cancer Research have scheduled a half-marathon run in Manchester beginning at A56 Bridgewater Way and finishing at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Stadium. Josh Maher and Jack Smith (two grandchildren of Christine) will compete in the race and help raise money for a wonderful and ever growing charity. Please participate if possible.

Diagnosing cancer earlier
Detecting cancer at an early stage helps save lives. That’s why we’re pioneering new ways to diagnose cancer earlier and stop it in its tracks. But we need to go further, faster. With your support, we can change the outlook on cancer, catching it when it’s most treatable so more people survive.
