I am taking part in the 10k Race for Life 2019 to try and raise as much money as I can for Cancer Research. My Grandad had Cancer but thankfully he was extremely lucky and it managed to be resolved, however I also know people who haven't been so lucky. Even those who have survived Cancer and it has managed to be treated, I have personally seen the long lasting effects it has on that individual as well as there family.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
