My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page :D I’m not going to promise that I will run 56 miles, because I've trained for a half marathon before and it didn't go too well! However, I will be walking, moving and just generally being more active in February to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. As walking 2 miles a day doesn't seem like enough of a challenge for me, I'm going to bump up my goal to 100 miles over February's 28 days. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
