My Story

(Español más abajo) Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! For many of you, it will come as no surprise to know that I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma three years ago. Since then, I have had the privilege of receiving the best possible treatment. Today, 44 chemotherapy sessions and a stem cell transplant later, I can say that I'm in remission. If I'm feeling well today, it is thanks to the work of all those who have researched this and other types of cancer. But there is still a long way to go. Multiple myeloma is still a disease for which there is no definitive cure. Initiatives like this one, no matter how small, will contribute to a future — not too far away, I hope — when the world can say that a cure has been found.
