My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. A close friend of ours has recently been diagnosed with cancer. This has come as stark reminder that cancer is something that can affect anyone, young or old. We wish to raise awareness of the importance for people to check themselves regularly for signs. With him being a massive football fan we have decided what better thing to do than run a 8-hour charity football match in order to raise money for cancer research. All support on the day will be greatly appreciated and very much needed! Please donate to this very worthy cause that is close to our hearts, any small donation is greatly appreciated. We hope that we will see you on the day. Together we will beat cancer.

Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
