Anyone who knows us knows that as a family, we are fighting cancer for the 6th time in as many years, Elizabeth has had 4 neuroendocrine tumours resulting in the loss of her right eye and I am fighting breast cancer for the second time, I will be having my surgery the day before the Poole event so although I will attempt to walk it, I may not finish. Please sponsor the kids though, they're amazing and have decided to dedicate their muddy run to children like Elizabeth that have had no choice but to fight this monster over and over, the strength of these little people is inspiring, having met several children now, who are fighting or have fought cancer, I can say without a doubt, they have unbelievable strength and resilience. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
