My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. We have all been touched by cancer - whether ourselves or friends and family. Our Charity of the Year at work this year is Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens - who are passionate about helping to develop kinder treatments for young people and, of course, to help reduce the amount of people getting cancer in the first place. A friend of mine has recently been undergoing treatment for cancer and it motivated me to try and raise money to help develop better treatments for those touched by cancer. What am I doing? This year, I will be doing another Ultra Marathon! But I will also be running plenty of other races to suffer and motivate you all to donate. The current list is: 17/3/19 - Reading Half Marathon (13.1 miles) 9/6/18 - Race to the Tower (52 miles) 15/6/19 - Endure 24 (24 hour race running in a pair - aiming for minimum 50 miles each!) More races will be added as I enter them. Please donate whatever you can - the more you raise, the less it hurts when running (well, not really, but it definitely motivates me to keep going!) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
