In memory of
William Low
My Story
When we signed up for this walk we wanted to raise some money to go into research to help beat cancer sooner. Now, it means a whole lot more. In August 2017, I lost a dear and true friend in William Low. William was first diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 5. Winning his battle. However, at the age of 13 the Medulloblastoma brain tumours came back giving William months to live. Thanks to some amazing stem cell treatment, Will bravely and miraculously beat cancer for the second time. Unfortunately, William was rediagnosed with cancer in 2016, this time on his spine with an icing sugar coating around his brain. Bravely, Will fought cancer again until he lost his fight in August 2017 - aged 17 years. To raise some money to help the research into Childhood cancer would be amazing so please give what ever you can to the page as we embark on our Marathon Walk on Saturday 23rd September 2017. We hit our first target of £500 on Tuesday 19th September. We have decided to ask you - can we make £750?

CAUSE
Childhood cancer
Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive. Help Cancer Research UK discover better and kinder treatments for all cancers and to continue to improve overall survival for childhood cancer.
