I am currently over 5 years in remission from Prostate cancer and I have had a fantastic recovery after having Robotic Prostate removal in June 2016 I am continuing my fight/crusade to help Cancer Research beat this dreadful disease,my aim is to raise awareness of this disease which affects all mankind, I have aslo recently been diagnosed with Stage 1 Melanoma which is currently being treated. This is my Third football event after raising £4,000 in previous Jimmy Johnstone events in 2018 and 2019. I am raising money and also awarenes for the following charities Prostate Cancer and Motor Neurone My Idol Jimmy Johnstone ,a Celtic legend passed away from Motor Neurone and my tournament is in honour of this Celtic great. I also take part in the March For Men which is organised by Jeff Stelling and is a fantastic event in which hundreds of thousands of pounds are raised.I have been on a journey the last 6 years with the help of my lovely wife Shirley and my fantastic family and friends.
