Ann Wilson

My Story

Thank you for visiting my Donate in Memory page which has been set up in memory of my Aunt, Ann (Annie) Wilson and her late husband Alec. Annie was a much-loved wife, sister and aunt as well as loving and generous friend to many. Her positivity and zest for life was infectious and she was often the life and soul of the party. She had a passion for travel and dancing, she loved dancing with the Hurst Morris People and was often seen at festivals and shows. The Donate page has particular relevance as not only did we lose Annie to cancer; Annie herself lost her husband and the love of her life to cancer 44 years ago. A picture of their wedding day is in the gallery below. Despite this loss, Annie went on to live a life full of adventure, happiness and fun creating many more great memories. Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. Please donate today and help to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can increase by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme – at no additional cost to you. Please tick the Gift Aid box when you donate.
