My Story
Back in 2012 whilst my husband Ian was on a fishing trip his sister rung him and told him her breast cancer had returned but it was terminal. After getting over the shock of this news he sat and started to think of a way he could do something to help the fight against this disease. He himself has suffered with lymphoma twice and between my husband and I we have had too many loved ones taken or affected by this illness. Whilst sitting there he came up with the idea of a sponsored fishing match that would be over a 36 hour period. So with the help off me we started organising the event, it was just small to start with, just 6 anglers but the event went well and we have continued it ever since.
