10k Challenge 26th September 2020

The last month has been absolute hell for my family and I to learn that my beautiful Mum has been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and most devastatingly, we have now found out that the cancer has become too aggressive and it cannot be cured as well as being difficult to treat. Oesophageal cancer rates are rising in the UK and it’s one of the hardest cancers to treat. It’s the sixth most common cause of cancer death and survival rates are poor. Because of this, I am wanting to raise funds and awareness to not only further research into finding ways to improve survival from the disease but, campaign and fight for oesophageal screenings to take place. I will be doing a 10k Challenge on Saturday 26th September in Watford and will upload route and the tracking of events following the completion of this.
