My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. With losing so many friends, family and colleagues to cancer over the years and having family and friends living with it now, as we all know it raises its ugly head in many manifestations from organs to blood. Thankfully we ARE seeing better treatments and people genuinely beating it thanks to ongoing research. So this challenge is to help raise some money to help, with the ongoing research. Since my weight loss and fitness journey started in March 2025, when I could manage maybe three to five press-ups before collapsing in a heap, I’m giving this a go ! I’ll most likely be doing 4 sets of 25 within 10 minutes. That’s my goal anyway ! Even if you can just chuck a quid in the pot I’ll be grateful. We’ll keep cheering on the ones who are kicking it’s ass And remember the ones it took from us too soon…… My Uncle Terry Adams, dear cousin Carole Williams, my friend of 30 years Mike Smith, my ex father in law and best buddy, Kev Goonan and of course my singing friends, Gary Perkins, Ken Durrans, OJ Reynolds, Barry Wallace to name but a few…….apologies if I’ve missed anyone

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
